Kirkuk University Discusses the Effect of Using Clove Bud Powder and Vitamin C in Broiler Chickens

The College of Agriculture discussed a master's thesis on the effect of clove bud powder and vitamin C in mitigating heat stress on productive and physiological performance and antioxidant status of broiler chickens reared during summer.

The thesis presented by student Fuad Nasser Fadhel aimed to study:

  • The effect of clove bud powder and vitamin C on productive and physiological performance.

  • Certain antioxidant parameters.

  • Carcass characteristics.

  • Stress levels in heat-stressed broiler chickens.

The study concluded that:
Adding clove bud powder and vitamin C to broiler feed led to significant improvement in all studied traits.
