The Deanship of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk launched its media campaign urging its students and staff to update their voter cards to ensure their active participation in the parliamentary elections.
The official of the Student Activities Division in the college, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Salahuddin Bahauddin, explained that based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk regarding urging students and staff to update their voter cards, the Student Activities Division organized an educational lecture in this context, and a campaign distributing brochures and leaflets in the college corridors urging students and staff to update their voter cards and increase electoral cultural awareness, due to the importance of this matter in the success of the electoral process as it is a national duty entrusted to all citizens, especially university students.
The official of the Student Activities Division added that the campaign also included spreading electoral cultural awareness about updating voter cards for students and staff on all social media platforms affiliated with the College of Agriculture.
