Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized an awareness seminar titled *Honoring Parents , attended by faculty members and students.
Asst. Lect. Maha Ahmed Kamal, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, delivered a lecture emphasizing the importance of educating the younger generation about filial piety. She highlighted that Allah Almighty commands in the Quran (e.g., Surah Al-Isra, 17:23–24) to treat parents with kindness and respect, stressing that disobedience to parents is among the gravest sins. She underscored that success and divine blessings in life are tied to honoring one’s parents, urging students to uphold this moral and religious obligation.
