The Studies and Planning Division is a core Division within the organizational structure of the College of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk. Administratively, it reports to the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and coordinates with the University Presidency’s Studies, Planning, and Follow-up Division. The division is responsible for:

1- Preparing annual plans and official statistics.

2- Monitoring the college’s academic and administrative performance.
-
3- Contributing to strategic policy development for the college’s future.
It maintains a comprehensive database on students, faculty, staff, and curricula, produces analytical reports to support decision-making, and enhances institutional performance through evidence-based planning. The division also serves as a liaison between the college, university presidency, and the Ministry of Higher Education by managing correspondence, statistics, and development programs.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

1- Develop the college’s strategic plans in coordination with academic departments.

2- Design the college’s academic structure and assess departmental staffing needs.

Data Management and Reporting:

1- Collect periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) data on students, faculty, and staff.

2- Prepare annual university statistical tables (e.g., admissions, graduations, deferrals, failures, faculty/staff qualifications).
-
3- Submit annual college reports to the university and ministry, covering:

- Admissions, exam participation, pass/fail rates.
-
- Research projects, student activities, staff development programs, scholarships, and construction projects.

- Academic, educational, and cultural achievements.

Performance Monitoring:

1- Track performance and quality indicators, providing regular progress reports.

2- Support academic accreditation and quality assurance processes.

Curriculum and Admission Planning:
